Scrimmage Helping Bruins Learn

Zero week is here for football teams across Northeast Oklahoma, but BHS won't get started until Week No. 1.

At Bartlesville High, the Bruins are preparing for their second scrimmage of the month, as Tulsa Edison and East Central visit Custer Stadium on Thursday. BHS sort of got some scrimmage action against Coweta this past week during the Broken Arrow Kickoff Bash.

The Bruins had some successes and some failures during the practice against the Tigers. Head coach Lee Blankenship says his team’s attitude has still been stellar.

We will have coverage from Thursday evening’s scrimmage from Custer Stadium and a lot more on Bruin football throughout the week.

BHS opens up the regular season on the road at Claremore on August 31.
