Several Area Girl's Golfer in State Competition

Several area girl’s golfers are participating in the state tournament on Wednesday, with the final day coming up on Thursday morning/afternoon.

The Bartlesville girls’ team qualified for 6A State at the Broken Arrow Golf Club.

The Lady Bruins are finished Wednesday in 10th place after posting a team score of 383 of on day one of the two-day event.

Lisa Brown led BHS with an 88. Campbell Craig and Taylor Price both shot a 93. Grace Lumpkin posted a 101 and Emmilyn Rainbolt shot a 104.

Dewey’s Makenna Smith shot a day one score of 88 at the 3A State Tournament from the Westwood Park Golf Club in Norman.

Nowata Lizzie Woolman posted a personal-best 105 in day one of the 2A state tournament at the Cimarron Golf Club in Guthrie.
