Sport Talks Booker T. at Coach's Show

 

KWON spoke with Bartlesville High head football coach Jason Sport on Wednesday evening during his weekly radio program, as Bartlesville will host Booker T. Washington on Friday to begin district play.

Thus far in 2019 it’s been the BHS offense that is a bit behind the defense.

Bartlesville went the majority of the first half without a first down a week ago in a loss at Del City, 49-24. Bartlesville started to put it together in the second half, completing some long passes to Shane Simpson, and getting Laken Clowdus above 100 yards on the ground for the second straight week. Sport says that it is small things leading to offensive struggles.

BHS will again have its hands full on Friday, as a top-10 level team in 6A-II in Booker T. Washington visits Custer Stadium. The Hornets are 1-2, with both losses coming to teams in Arkansas.
