Sports Commission Annual Meeting on Wednesday

 

The Bartlesville Sports annual State of The Union is here.

The Bartlesville Sports Commission is having its annual meeting on Wednesday evening. It will start at 5:30 PM at the Bruin Fieldhouse Hospitality Room.

Chairman of the Sports Commission Bob Pomeroy will give a report on the past year in the Sports Commission. Bartlesville is now in its final year of a contract with the Great American Conference to continue to host the GAC’s men’s and women’s basketball tournaments. The Sports Commission brought in Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby to speak in the fall, and it also organized and hosted Bruin kick-off and tip-off lunches.

Also at the meeting, the Sports Commission will announce the 2018 induction class of the Bartlesville Sports Hall of Fame. The nominees will be officially enshrined during a ceremony in November.

No reservations are required for this event, we will have a report on the nominees and business on Thursday.
