WCS Back to Work After Game Off

Wesleyan Christian School is getting back to work after lending a helping hand a week ago.

The Mustangs took Friday to go to Yukon and attend a Southwest Covenant player’s funeral after he passed away during a game nearly two weeks ago. WCS did not play last week because the Mustangs were slated to play SWC the week following the players death.

The Mustangs are back in action against Foyil for their homecoming game this Friday. Head coach Curt Cloud talks about what his club has been working on the past couple weeks.

Wesleyan Christian has had great offensive performances this year, it is averaging 52.3 PPG and is giving up 39.3 PPG.

Cloud says that the point of emphasis in practice continues to be defense ahead of district play in a couple weeks.

The Mustangs will face Foyil for their homecoming on Friday at 7:00 PM.
