WCS Basketball Looking for History Thursday

Speaking of postseason basketball, Wesleyan Christian School will try to make history on Thursday, as both the WCS clubs will try to punch their tickets to the Class B Area Tournament with their first games in Regionals.

Both Mustang clubs rolled through Shidler in their District tournament last weekend.

WCS boys and girls will face Lomega on Thursday evening at Mullhall-Orlando. A win would move them to the Regional title game, and guarantee a spot in the Area Tournament. Wesleyan Christian boys coach Kameron Nettleton talks about the Mustang’s opponent, Lomega.

According to Nettleton, Wesleyan Christian has never made an appearance in Areas. A Mustang alum, Nettleton talks about what a win tonight would mean for him and his program.

Girls tip off at 6:30 with the boys to follow about 8:00. Both Wesleyan Christian School’s games are non-elimination.

The next games throughout Regional play will be in Cashion.
