Bartlesville High basketball ran into a buzz saw in the BOK Center on Saturday, as Booker T. Washington had its way with BHS during the special twin-bill.

The Lady Bruins hung in until a big Booker T. third quarter opened up the game. The Lady Hornets topped BHS 75-42.

Bartlesville was down only nine at halftime, and had the lead cut to three midway through the second quarter. Chloe Martin continued her tear with 12 first half points, including this trey.

A tough portion of the Lady Bruins schedule is finally over, but BHS has lost four in a row.

On the guy’s side, Bartlesville fell to Booker T. 88-44. The Hornets scored 31 points in the first quarter, as the Bruins had trouble keeping up. There were some major bright spots, though. LP Smith had a career high 19 points. The senior was fired up from three, hitting five shots from beyond the arc. This first one game Bartlesville an early lead.

After a stretch of seven games in 15 days both BHS basketball teams are off until Friday, when Muskogee visits Bruin Field House.
