Wesleyan Christian Basketball Opens Friday

We will have some high school basketball games on the docket across the area on Friday – as smaller schools get things started a bit before Thanksgiving.

One of those schools beginning their season this week is Wesleyan Christian School.

The Mustangs are back under the direction of former WCS star Kameron Nettleton, who is in his third year with the program. The Mustangs did not graduate anyone off of last year’s squad, and they actually add a transfer player. Nettleton runs down what his team will look like early in 2019.

Wesleyan Christian opens up the year against Claremore Christian at home tomorrow. The Mustangs went 10-16 last year, and Nettleton believes that if his team plays to its ability, it could have a historic season by its programs standards.

Hear more from Nettleton, and all the area head basketball coaches on Saturday morning, during our Coach’s Breakfast Broadcast, which will air from 7-9 on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3 live from Eggberts in Bartlesville.
