Wesleyan Christian Eyes Start of Practice

At  Wesleyan Christian School, where the Mustang football team is trying to get back into the playoffs for the third straight year.

WCS will have about 14 kids out for football this fall, with the majority of those guys coming out most days for offseason workouts.

Head coach Curt Cloud details how summer pride workouts went for the Mustangs.

WCS went 8-4 and won its second playoff game in the program’s history a year ago. However a large senior class will leave the Mustangs younger this fall. Wesleyan Christian graduated six seniors off last year’s team. Carson Tennison, Tyrel Cloud and Kael Siemers are the notable returners back again this fall.

Two-a-days will begin on Aug. 8 for the Mustangs, with regular practice starting on Aug. 12, the day high school begins at WCS.

The Mustangs will open with Webbers Falls on Sept. 2.
