World Cup Watch Party at Custer Stadium

For one night, yelling at a giant screen in public will actually be encouraged. Bartlesville residents are invited to gather at Custer Stadium behind Bartlesville High School on Friday, June 12, for a community World Cup watch party as the United States Men’s National Team takes on Paraguay. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m., with the match airing on the stadium’s jumbotron at 1700 Hillcrest Drive. Organizers say the event is meant to bring the community together through soccer, family fun, and collective emotional instability every time Team USA misses a scoring opportunity by six inches. Fans are encouraged to come early, get comfortable, and enjoy the atmosphere whether they’ve followed soccer for decades or just learned what “offsides” means five minutes ago.
