Frontier, Sooner Pools to Open May 25

Bartlesville's Frontier and Sooner swimming pools are set to open Memorial Day weekend, on May 25, barring any unforeseen issues.
City officials say the Johnstone Park Splash Pad is open now and crews are completing some patch work on Sooner Splash Pad, which is anticipated to open Wednesday.
Last year, city pools and splash pads were unable to open for most of the summer because of extreme drought conditions and water restrictions, which were in place until late July. The city was able to finally open Frontier Pool on July 24 for a short season until school started on Aug. 10.
