Crafty Candle Wants Help to Save Keepsake Candles

The owners of the Crafty Candle Shoppe and Artisan Mercantile downtown are looking to bring a candle staple from this part of the state back online.

According to a release from Crafty Candle owners Cliff and Erin Taylor, they have been given the opportunity to buy Keepsake Candles. Plans from the Taylor say they would like to have 50 employees working at the venture within months and 100 employees within the year.

They are looking for investors to help make their plans come true. The Taylors say their initial investors have not worked out, and they are now branching out to look for every opportunity to make sure Keepsake Candles stays open within the community.

As such, we have taken this effort to the community by creating a Kickstarter campaign.  We set an initial modest goal because Kickstarter is an all or nothing platform - once we get close to our goal, we can increase it. So hitting our goal is important.  The more people that know about it, the more will read it, hopefully share it, and ultimately join the team and pledge.
