A Coffeyville, Kansas high school senior passes away just hours after graduation.

Alonzo Juan Juan drowned at Big Hill Lake, near Cherryvale, just hours after receiving a diploma at the Field Kindley High School commencement ceremony. The body was recovered Saturday evening by emergency responders.

The passing comes just six weeks after another Field Kindley senior passed away in a car accident on Highway 160 west of Independence.
