At last week's Osage County Commissioners meeting, Laura Teague had approached the Board about getting the fees waived for an event that she held there earlier this month. While it is a nonprofit organization, the Art of the Cowgirl isn't directly benefiting anyone. It was up to the Board to determine if she could get that for free on Monday. Here is how that conversation went between District Two Commissioner Steve Talburt and District Three Commissioner Charlie Cartwright.

There was also an agreement signed that will allow for a school resource officer to be on the Wynona and McCord school grounds through the end of the 2024-2025 fiscal year. There was one utility permit signed for District Three.

The Board of Osage County Commissioners will convene for its next regularly scheduled meeting at 10 a.m. Next Monday for those interested in attending.
