Bartlesville’s annual Fourth of July celebration will take place Friday, July 4, at Sooner Park, featuring an evening of family fun, live entertainment, and fireworks.

It all begins at 5 p.m. with food trucks and vendor booths, alongside a live broadcast from Bartlesville Radio on 100.1 KYFM.

Appearing on COMMUNITY CONNECTION on KWON, Kiwanis members Karen Wilson and Konrad Brandemuhl said there will be inflatables for the youngsters that are sponsored by Truity Credit Union and operated by Scouts from Troop 6. Those will open at 6 p.m. At the same time, there will be welcome remarks and announcements at the bandshell stage, sponsored by BOK.

The little ones can participate in the Patriotic Kids’ Costume Contest and Parade, with registration starting at 6:15 p.m. and judging beginning at 6:45 p.m. Prizes will be awarded at 7 p.m. in four categories: Most Patriotic, Funniest, Best Bartlesville Spirit, and Best Group Spirit.

Local band Radio Range takes the stage at 7:15 p.m., courtesy of entertainment sponsor Sparklight. Inflatables and booths close at 8:45 p.m.

The night wraps up with a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m., set off from the field between the Sooner pool and nearby schools. Attendees can tune in to 100.1 KYFM for synchronized patriotic music.
