The City of Nowata will be celebrating the July 4th holiday in style this weekend with plenty of events taking place on Friday at Jack Gordon Park.

The fun begins at noon with a catfish fundraiser for the Nowata Fire Department. Music will start at 3 p.m. with Jason Goodell and Jason Randall. Pulled pork sandwiches will be served at 4 p.m. Throughout the day, there will be kids for the game to play and the fireworks are set to start when the sun goes down.

On Friday, we will be broadcasting live from the park from noon to 2 p.m. on Real Country KRIG 104.9 FM. Thank you to American Heritage Beef Company, Totah Communications, Totel CSI, Bartnet IP, City Nowata City Drug, Apex Clean Energy, Arvest Bank, Rainey's Custom Butchering, Rainey's Meat Market in Nowata, Robin Mackey's Photography, Tripp's Bar, Oklahoma Farm Bureau Agent Heather Kiser and Nowata Automotive for making Friday's broadcast possible.
