Two men were arrested near the Dick Conner Correctional Facility early Monday morning and are facing charges of distribution or possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute and trafficking methamphetamine.

A press release states Jalen Mack and Santale Cephus II were allegedly caught on a security camera parked after hours in the Hominy casino parking lot. Security personnel reported that a subject with a black backpack approached the Dick Conner Correctional Facility while the driver remained in the vehicle.

Osage County deputies and the Osage Nation Police Department arrived and detected a heat signature near the exterior fence of the facility. Upon approach, it is alleged that deputies located one of the male subjects attempting to hide with the backpack still in his possession.

The backpack allegedly contained multiple cellphones, approximately 30 grams of a white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine, more than 500 grams of a green, leafy subject of what is believed to be marijuana, cigars, loose tobacco, nicotine vape devices, lighters and other various items.
