Bartlesville Falls to Owasso During Senior Night

Bartlesville girls’ and boys’ basketball could not get a senior night win last night, as Owasso bested the Bruins in their final home games of the year on Friday night at Bruin Field House. 

On the girl’s side it was a closer contest. Bartlesville bounced back after a slow first quarter but could never complete a comeback. Owasso beat the Lady Bruins 50-37.

After scoring only two points in the first quarter, BHS cut an 11-point halftime lead down to five multiple times in the final two quarters. Mikka Chambers had a great night.

She finished with 19, including two on this and-one that again cut the Owasso lead to five in the third quarter.

Chambers and Grace McPhail were honored as the BHS seniors.

Meanwhile on the guy’s side Owasso pulled away late in the first quarter. Rams over BHS 80-20.

The game was 6-5 Owasso on top late in the first quarter, but the Rams would go on a 46-0 run over the next 15 minutes of gameplay to put the game away.

This Riley Duong three-pointer kept the Bruins in the game early.

Duong, Grant Clark, Jacob Veit, Eli Robertson and Cooper Wood were the Bruin guy seniors.

Lady Bruins drop to 11-10, Bruin guys fall to 3-18. Only one more regular season double-header at Sand Springs on Tuesday.
