Bruin 6A State Track Results

 

Bartlesville 6A Track competed in state yesterday and brought home some gold. Let’s start with Gentry Turner. Once again, she was able to bring home a championship as she won the 3200m. Turner also finished fourth out of sixth in the 1600m. 

On the girls side a team, the Bartlesville girls finished 10th, with a total score of 30.86, and girls 400 relay finished sixth as a team. Campbell Barta finished fifth out of six in the 100, and Kadance Barnett finished sixth in the long jump. 

On the guys side, as a team the Bruins finished tied for 18th out of 26 teams. Wesley Turner brought home the lone hardware on the guys side as the freshman won pole vault with a school record of 15’6. Wesley Turner became just the second Bruin EVER to win state as a freshman.
