Bruin Softball Begins Monday

 

We have been talking about the start of fall sports practices over the past few weeks.

We told you earlier this week that Bartlesville High volleyball starts on Monday. The Lady Bruin softball team also gets going with games on Monday.

Bartlesville High softball has one of the new varsity head coaches this upcoming year. Holden Yoder takes over for former head coach Kyle Minton, who is now on staff at the BHS Athletic Department.

Yoder was previously an assistant at Wyandotte.

Yoder took the job in the late spring, he says the first objective of the summer for the Lady Bruins was to work with the pitchers.

Scrimmages have been ongoing for the past two weeks.

Yoder talks about how he got batters up to speed once practice started three weeks ago.

Bartlesville softball opens against an area foe in Pawhuska.

First pitch on Monday evening from the east side softball complex off Madison at 5:00.
