Caney Valley Begins Second Week of Spring Football

 

Spring football continues on, as does our coverage in Northeast Oklahoma. The Caney Valley Trojans are entering week number two of spring football activities and are prepping for a team camp with Oklahoma Union this weekend in Ramona.

The Trojans are coming off a tough 1-9 season and are tasked with replacing a good number of starters from last year’s squad. Head Coach Stephen Mitchell talks about how the first week of practice has gone with a mostly new unit.

With a bevy of spots to fill, Mitchell knows that there will be some challenges ahead this spring as they prepare for team camp later this weekend. He hopes his team can come out injury free, among other things.
