Copan Football 5-1 After WCS Win
It was a big win for Copan football this past Friday.
For the first time since 2010 the Hornets beat Wesleyan Christian School. The two eight-man programs are only separated by 14 miles.
The 56-6 win on Friday night in Bartlesville moved Copan to 5-1 to begin the 2024 season and now 1-0 in Class B-II District 4 play. The game ended mid-way through the third quarter in a run rule.
Copan head coach Marshall Foreman says it was good to finally get a win over the Mustangs.
The Hornets will also be heavy favorites this weekend. Copan hosts a 1-5 Ganz club on Thursday evening in District matchup No. 2.
