Dewey Hoops Beats Seq. Claremore

Dewey basketball picked up a win in the first round of the RCB Winter Invitational in Oologah on Thursday night.
The Bulldoggers beat Sequoyah (Claremore), 51-39.
Dewey had some struggles offensively early in the ballgame, they didn't make a three-pointer until the second quarter. Similar to Tuesday's win over Wesleyan Christian School, defense led the way.
Dewey went into the break up by one, 19-18, and led by only two after three quarters, 38-36. Dewey allowed just three points in the fourth quarter. This Kooper Crawford bucket through contact in the final three minutes helped win it for Dewey.
The win is the fifth in a row for the Bulldoggers and their fifth in a row by double-digits. Dewey is 10-1 overall and will take on Oologah at 8:30 p.m. in the semifinals on Friday.
The Lady Bulldoggers also got a win over Sequoyah earlier in the evening, 46-44. The Dewey girls improve to 6-5 overall and will meet Oologah at 7 p.m. on Friday night.
