Doenges Ford Indians Season Comes to an End

The 2024 Doenges Ford Indians had their season come to an end on Saturday in the Oklahoma State Legion Tournament in Ada.
Bartlesville rallied to win two elimination games before falling in the title game to the Ada Braves.
The Braves topped the Indians 17-3 in the championship round to end its season at 23-15-1.
Bartlesville had its moments getting to the title round, though.
The Indians got a 3-1 win over the Shawnee Diamond Jax in the consolation bracket finals in game one on Saturday. The victory came on the back of Brenden Asher.
The future ORU Golden Eagle went the full seven frames on mound. He faced only two batters over the minimum and surrendered just two hits in the contest. He struck out six and walked one.
This strikeout to end the fourth inning kept Bartlesville in the lead.
Bartlesville also got a first in its second-to-last game of the year. The Indians finally got a home run over the fence.
The win over Shawnee gave Bartlesville a spot in the finals, needing to beat the Ada Braves twice to win a state championship.
However, the Tribe ran out of gas. Ada scored 12 runs in a lengthy second inning en-route to its 14-run win.
We will have more wrapping up the Indians 2024 season over the next several days.
