Bartlesville High girls’ basketball is back in action again on Friday evening on the road at Muskogee.

There are no boys games on Friday evening. The Bruin guys were supposed to be at Ponca City, but that game has been called off. Ponca City was over the allowed number of games.

The Lady Bruins are 1-2 on the girl’s side. BHS is coming off a wild game at Putnam City on Tuesday. Bartlesville got down by 19 points but came storming back. The Lady Bruins got within five on a couple of occasions but could never draw any closer.

Senior Mikka Chambers continues to lead the way. Chambers is one rebound shy of averaging a double-double this season. She is scoring at nearly 19-points-per-game through the first three games of the season.

Head coach Justyn Shaw talks about what Chambers brings to the club.

Muskogee has only played one game so far this year. The Lady Roughers suffered a blowout loss against Broken Arrow in their only contest this season.

A 6:30 tip from Muskogee on Friday, with radio-only coverage on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1.
