Nowata Football Rolling Through Summer Workouts

With summer pride in full swing at Nowata High School, Ironmen football has also begun their summer practices and passing league events.
Nowata goes to Sequoyah (Claremore) once a week to compete in 7-on-7 play. First-year head coach Scott Martin talks about what he looks for during 7-on-7 action.
During summer pride, Nowata mixes up the workouts between lifts in the weight room and agility work on the football field. Ages range from high school to junior high with each group putting in at least an hour.
For the football guys, Martin says his team has been putting in the work.
Nowata officially kicked off summer pride right when the school year ended.
