OKWU Baseball Begins NAIA Championship Run Today

 

OKWU Baseball will start their trek for a red banner today as they battle William Carey in Hattiesburg, Mississippi for the first round of the NAIA tournament.

The Eagles were able to grab the three-seed out of the four-team region. Just like in the KCAC tournament, Head Coach Kirk Kelly knows how important it is to win the opening game, so you do not fall to the loser’s bracket and end up playing one extra game.

Kelly talks about the importance of game one.
