OKWU Baseball Learns First Round NAIA Opponent

 

Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball punched their ticket to the postseason dance this past weekend after going 4-0 in the KCAC tournament to capture the title. The Eagles were awaiting the announcement of their location and opponent for Monday at the start of the NAIA tournament.

Here was the announcement on the NAIA’s YouTube page at 4 pm.

The Eagles grabbed the three seed out of four in their region, and will face William Carey, Mississippi in the first round. The Crusaders come in with a 34-14 record and also winners of their conference tournament in the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC).

The Eagles will enter the double-elimination tournament on Monday against the Crusaders in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. We will have more on the Eagles in the next few days.
