OKWU Hoops Heads to Kansas City for Third Straight Year

Oklahoma Wesleyan men's basketball is back in the round of 16 in the NAIA national tournament.
This is the third season in a row that the Eagles have advanced past the first two rounds of the tournament. Every game they play in the tournament from this point will be at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City.
The Eagles dominated both of their opening round matchups at home to advance to the third round. OKWU took out Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) in the first round, 104-66, and Montana Tech in the second round, 67-46, last weekend.
The Eagles will take on Langston on Friday at 5 p.m. in a rematch with the Lions. Last time around, Langston beat OKWU in Skiatook on Nov. 1, 73-70.
Tip-off on Friday night is set for 5 p.m. from Municipal Auditorium.
