OU and OK-State Offenses Do Poorly

Was not a great weekend for college football, as Tulsa was our only in-state club who won.

Oklahoma is off to a 0-1 start in the SEC, as the Sooners struggled big-time on offense in an ultimate 25-15 loss to the Volunteers.

Quarterback Jackson Arnold did poor enough that he was benched for Michael Hawkins, a true freshman QB.  Hawkins had some good moments and OU played better in the second half.

After the game head coach Brent Venables talked about the Sooner effort.

Sooners next head to Auburn for their first road game of the season on Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile Oklahoma State had an anemic offensive performance in a 22-19 loss to Utah. The game was not as close as the final score would indicate.

Cowboys had only three points until late.

Mike Gundy talked about his team’s woes after.

Another tough one on Saturday morning at 11:00, as the Cowboys travel to Kansas State.
