Panthers in a Must Win Scenario Against Hominy

 

The Barnsdall Panthers are in a must win situation on Thursday night as they welcome Hominy to town for senior night. Barnsdall's final regular season opponent in Porter has forfeited the remainder of its season guaranteeing a winning season for the Panthers. To ensure a playoff spot, Barnsdall needs a win on Thursday and a loss from Ketchum in one of the final two weeks.

Hominy comes into Thursday night's game unbeaten in district play and Panther coach Kylee Sweeney says in order to beat the Bucks, you must find a way to stop quarterback Blaine Hipp.

For Sweeney, this game always means something extra, as he played there and was also a coach there. While Sweeney has been in Barnsdall for ten years, there are still many familiar faces on that Hominy sideline.

Barnsdall's home finale against Hominy is our game of the week on 100.1 KYFM. It can also be streamed on kwontv.com. Coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m.
