Wright Proud of Bruin Playoff Win
Bartlesville High football is one of the only Northeast Oklahoma gridiron teams still kicking following last week’s first round of the playoffs.
BHS dispatched of Putnam City North easily on Friday night. The Bruins beat the Panthers 45-14.
After leading 24-7 at halftime, BHS would score 21 of the next 28 points in the second half to pull away. BHS got a great second half from quarterback Nate Neal and another 150-yard plus performance from PJ Wallace to nab the win.
After the game head coach Harry Wright talked with KWON thanks to Skyway Honda.
Bartlesville now gets set for the 6A-II quarterfinals. The Bruins will travel to Edmond to take on Deer Creek on Friday night at 7:00.
The Antlers are the No. 1 seed from the west side of the state.
