Area Girls Golfers at State Wednesday

The entire Bartlesville High girls golf team, along with individuals from Dewey and Nowata will begin the state tournament today. 

All the area athletes will play the first 18 holes of the 36-hole event, which wraps up tomorrow. 

The Lady Bruins qualified for 6A State as a team after a great showing at Regionals last week in Stillwater. All five tee off from the Broken Arrow Golf and Athletic Club on Wednesday morning. 

Meanwhile at Dewey, Makenna Smith will be in the 3A State tourney in Norman. 

Also for Nowata, , Lizzie Woolman will compete in the 2A State Tournament at Cimarron Golf Club in Guthrie. Woolman will tee off Wednesday at 9:16 a.m.
