Baylee Wooten Named New Girls Basketball Coach at Nowata
Baylee Wooten has been named the new girls basketball coach at Nowata High School, according to an announcement made by the school last week.
Wooten was previously the head girls basketball coach at Riverfield in Tulsa. She talks about what brought her to Nowata.
Wooten takes over in her first season after the release of former girls basketball and softball coach Thad Hewitt back in April. With a group of just four upperclassmen last year, the Lady Ironmen finished last season 2-21.
With the majority of players returning for Nowata, Wooten talked about the potential of her group.
Wooten finished 9-10 in her final season at Riverfield last winter.
