BHS Gets Andrew Blain as New Volleyball Coach

 

Bartlesville High has hired a new varsity volleyball coach.

Andrew Blain has been tapped from within the program to replace Jennifer Ward. Blain takes over a team that has had three consecutive winning seasons. Bartlesville will return most of its production, even with losing a couple of key seniors.

In total, BHS graduates three off last year’s club. Kelsey Ward will be the most notable loss, the hitter surpassed 1,000 total kills late this past year. Angelina Greenhoward and Marielle Bussey are the other two.

Everyone else should be back for the Lady Bruins, who finished 23-12 and spent some time ranked in the top-10 of the state.
