BHS Tennis Still Rolling

 

Both the Bartlesville High tennis teams did well at varsity competitions this past weekend.

The Lady Bruins took third in a tournament at Bixby on Friday.

Annabelle Kelley continues to fill in at No. 1 singles for Maddie Shelley, who has been recovering from an injury. She has gone 7-3 in the role so far, finishing second in the tournament on Friday.

Meanwhile the Bruin guys took fifth as a team at Bixby on Saturday. Tony Morina placed fifth at No. 1 singles individually.

Head coach Bryan Reese says the excitement level for this group is still high after not having a real season a year ago.

Next matchups for BHS tennis is this weekend at Yukon.
