Bruin Baseball Playoffs at Union on Wednesday
Bartlesville baseball finally has its Regional bracket and the Bruins are officially headed to Union. BHS will take on Sapulpa at 1:30 on Wednesday afternoon to open up the double-elimination event.
Union and Putnam City West will play in the first game at 11:00 AM. Winners will play winners and losers will play losers later in the day on Wednesday.
Bartlesville will face some great pitching this weekend, with all four teams in the regional playing for their seasons.
Head coach Cody Price says he wants to be able to play small-ball at times.
Bruin baseball stands at 22-12 on the season. BHS lost to Sapulpa during their only meeting in the regular season. Chieftains topped Bartlesville 5-2 during the Bruin Classic on March 27.
Bartlesville topped Ponca City 7-5 in its final regular season game on Saturday.
