Bruin Hoops Search for Experience
Friday night will be the first official Bartlesville High basketball event of the winter, as the Lady Bruins and Bruins will host their annual hype night at Bruin Fieldhouse.
Teams will go through drills and scrimmages that are open to the public.
BHS is less than two weeks away from tipping of the 2019 season. Both Bartlesville teams will open things up at Union on Dec. 3.
We talked about the girls earlier this week. The Bruin guys return only one major starter of last year’s team in Shane Simpson. BHS head coach Clent Stewart is back for his sixth season. Stewart talks about his team’s lack of experience heading into the season.
We will have more from Stewart, girls’ basketball coach Donnie Martin, and other area coaches during our Coach’s Breakfast Broadcast live from Eggberts off Highway 75.
That extensive high school basketball preview show airs from 7-9 or so on Saturday morning on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
