Bruin Open Scrimmage on Tuesday

Bartlesville High boys hoops will take the court on Tuesday night for an intrasquad scrimmage.

BHS will play for an hour in front of an open gym.

This marks the first time the public will have a chance to see the Bruins, who have some higher expectations entering the winter.

Head coach Clent Stewart is back for his eighth season, and he says there is a little different of a feel heading into this season than there has been in years past.

Another difference from years past, most of the Bruins are already in the gym. Only a couple of mainstays in the Bartlesville lineup will be coming from football next week, which means that most of the guys in the regular varsity rotation have been practicing since the first part of October.

That is a luxury that BHS has not always had in the past.

The scrimmage will run from 5:00-6:00 PM on Tuesday night at Bruin Field House. Bartlesville then goes to a scrimmage at Tulsa Memorial on Friday.
