Bruin Soccer Sweeps Double-Header

 

The first soccer double-header of the season was a success for Bartlesville High, as the Bruins and Lady Bruins swept Sand Springs on the road.

The Lady Bruins cruised to a 2-0 victory. Meanwhile the Bruin guys had some drama in its first game under Anthony Tucker. Bartlesville came from behind to top the Sandites 5-4.

BHS was behind 3-1 previously. Bruin star Gabriel Ontiveros scored three goals, while Jalen Belong scored two.

Tucker also noted the play of freshman Peter Perryman, who had a crunch time cross to setup a late goal.

Both Bartlesville clubs are 1-0 and are next in action in Fort Gibson later on this week.
