Magic ran out for the Bruins baseball team on Friday as the team suffered its first loss in four games on the week. BHS lost to Owasso in a non-district ballgame 11-2.

BHS started Bradee Ridgon on the mound and a couple bad calls led to wheels falling off. A three-run home run from the Rams pushed their lead to 8-0 in the fourth inning. The Bruins would try to fight back in the bottom of the fourth inning. Braeden Winters slugged a double to spark the team.

Bartlesville would reduce the Rams to lead to 8-2. However, Owasso would come right back and add on three more in the fifth inning to end the game. Preston Berg was the only Bruins player to reach base more than once. He had a single and a walk.

BHS falls to 13-5 on the season. The Bruins have a colossal district series against first place Edmond Memorial on Monday and Tuesday of next week.
