CFB Still Going Ahead - For Now

No major news in the ever-changing landscape of college football coming on Thursday.

The NCAA did officially postpone all the fall championships outside of FBS football.

The NCAA had said that it would either move or cancel the championships if less than 50-percent of the member institutions were planning on playing this fall. They reached that threshold on Thursday.

The NCAA does not have any control over the College Football Playoff, and the majority of FBS football teams still intend to play this fall.

Teams in conferences moving ahead can still play the other sports in 2020 but there will be no championships. This officially takes away another National Championship that was supposed to have been held in Stillwater. Oklahoma State was set to host the 2020 NCAA Cross Country championship.

Stillwater was supposed to have hosted the NCAA Tennis titles in the spring of 2020, as well.
