The Dewey Bulldoggers are quickly preparing for a new baseball season. The Doggers were a young team last year that built momentum toward the end of the 2019 season. Dewey won six of its last 10 regular season games before being bounced after two district losses.

Doggers head coach Geoff Beaty enters his second year as head coach. Beaty says the team has been in the gym and batting cages all winter long getting ready for the new year. Beaty has lofty expectations for his team.

The Doggers return Grant Johnson, Michael Caswell, Corbin Buford and Jack Davis who were all major contributors as underclassmen last season. The Diamond Doggers will play Kellyville on Thursday at 5 p.m. to open the season.
