Dewey Football Preparing for Fall Camp

Dewey Bulldogger football is into their final week of solely working out until they are allowed to practice in the first week of August.

During the back half of the summer pride program, Dewey has intensified their workouts and have specialized them depending on the player's position.

Head coach Scott Sapulpa says the workouts will remain the same for fall camp.

Dewey has put an emphasis on balancing reps between the returning players and the younger athletes with the season coming up. The Bulldoggers are adding around 12 freshmen for the upcoming season on top of the handful that are returning from last fall. Dewey had nine seniors on last year's team.

Sapulpa talks about his message to the younger players.

The Bulldoggers open their season on Aug. 27 on the road for Vinita. Fall practice for high school football starts on Aug. 3.
