Dewey’s football turnaround is starting to become more pronounced.

The Dogger mostly had their way with 3A Vinita on Friday night, topping the Hornets 42-20 to move to 2-1 on the season. This was Dewey’s first win against Vinita since 2017.

The Doggers got out to a 22-0 lead, and then 36-6. It was never a contest.

Kale Carner passed for five touchdowns. This one to Colby Henley put the game on ice for Dewey in the third quarter.

The best sequence for Henley game earlier in the third quarter, when he got an interception on defense, and then a touchdown on offense in just a better of plays.

Dewey will be at home against Victory Christian this coming week to begin district play.

The Doggers are 2-1 after their first three games for the first time 2017 when Dewey started 3-1
