The Oklahoma Wesleyan men’s basketball team will compete amongst the top 32 teams in the NAIA National tournament. The Eagles open the 2020 event on Wednesday at noon from the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. OWKU is the No. 4 seed in the Liston Bracket and will take on No. 5 seed Spring Arbor, Michigan.

The Eagles finished 25-8 in the regular season and won the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament championship. Head coach Donnie Bostwick said that despite his team being young they have excellent chemistry.

Spring Arbor will begin its national title defense. The Cougars have two players that average over17 points per game. Spring Arbor is one of the top 10 shooting teams in the nation at 50% from the field. Bostwick talks about the opening opponent.

The Eagles will play their first round game Wednesday at noon – you can listen to the contest on 99.1 FM and 1500 AM – KPGM. Also BartlesvilleRadio.com and the Bartlesville Radio App – click on KPGM link.
