High School Sports Round Up: 8-8

 

There was a full schedule of softball and volleyball again on Tuesday across the area.

Here are the scores:

Softball: Bartlesville dropped its second-straight close game to begin the year. Lady Bruins fell at home to Edmond Santa Fe, 8-7. BHS is 0-2 to begin 2023. 

Other softball games: Dewey beat Inola, 11-2. Lady Bulldoggers are 2-0. Woodland topped Caney Valley, 7-1. Barnsdall lost to Woodland, 7-1. And Hominy beat Oklahoma Union 4-0.

Volleyball: Bartlesville started off its season on a high note. The Lady Bruins are 2-0 after two sweeps (3-0) over Sand Springs and Enid. Metro Christian swept Oklahoma Union, 3-0. 

No high school sporting events on Wednesday. They will rejoin a schedule on Thursday.
