Huskies Prepare to Face Defending State Champs

 

The Pawhuska Huskies have made things look easy in their first five game of the season, but this week they get to play the defending Class A state champions in the Tonkawa Buccaneers. Coach Matt Hennesy says the Bucs lost some key players off of last years team, but Hennesy believes Tonkawa will still be a handful. 

 

Hennesy added that the Bucs are a very fundamentally sound football team and that the quarterback can make a difference as well. 

 

Pawhuska plays at Tonkawa this Friday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and coverage can be heard on Sportstalk KPGM FM 99.1.
