Indian's Head to the Ozarks

Bartlesville’s summer baseball team will try to pick up its first win of the year on its first long road trip of the season.

The Doenges Ford Indian’s are en route to Branson, Missouri for their annual trip to the Ozarks this week. The Indian’s are guaranteed five games over three days in that event.

Bartlesville is set to play twice on Thursday afternoon (weather pending) at Branson High School. The Indian’s will face MAC County at 2:00 PM, and then turn around to play CMC Gray at 4:30.

Bartlesville is off to an 0-7 start to begin the 2019 season, but has been tied or held leads in games past the third inning in three of those seven contests. The additions of a Bartlesville Bruin in Alan Covarrubias, and a Collinsville Cardinal in Drake Acklin should help the Indian’s depth.

Bartlesville had 9-10 players for its first five games before having a full roster of 13 during Tuesday night’s double-header against Shawnee.

Both of Thursday's games starting at 2:00 PM will air on Sports Talk 1500 AM – and 99.1 FM – KPGM this afternoon, Scott McCauley on the call from Branson.

We will have updates and broadcast information all weekend long available on our website at BartlesvilleRadio.com.
