Indians Start Branson Tournament
Summer baseball is back on Thursday afternoon, as the Doenges Toyota Indians get into action during a tournament in the Branson area.
The Tribe had a prospect camp on Wednesday evening, where a handful of college coaches got to look at the younger members of the squad.
The Indians are 1-5 thus far this summer, but this weekend’s competition will likely be a bit younger than a few of the other squads the Tribe has played this summer.
Brett Eaves will likely be back in the lineup after missing most of last week following a leg injury. This tournament is also a homecoming for a few collegiate Indians, who go to college in the Branson area.
Manager John Pannell goes over a few other roster highlights.
